For this module scouts explored the difference between solids objects and fluids. We named different examples of solids in the room and spoke about the forces acting on us all right now.
Activity 1
We experimented with seeds, cotton balls and tissue paper using a hair dryer to see how air exerts different forces on natural objects depending on their surface area.
Activity 2 - Paper Helicopters
We made our own paper helicopters using a paper template and paperclips.
